May and June

Goodbye May! Hello June!

Oh my! The month of May went by pretty fast and we didn't even realize that it is now the month of June...and we are now on our last month of the school year 2022-2023.

Where did those precious 9 months of learning go?

Well, the month of May is indeed a pretty busy month. The Grade 3's had been working so hard and busy as a bee. I think that the Grade 3's had grown so much not only physically but in learning too.

Just a short recap -

* In-person Book Fair - It was indeed a success. The grade 3's in particular are excited that the book fair is now in person. We reached our goal and we now have a bunch of new books that the students will for sure enjoy.

* Math Learning Fair - The grade 3's had been preparing for this learning fair. They did a couple of activities. They did Puzzle Pieces for the different ways a number could be represented, and believe me there's a lot. :) They did City Skyline Arrays and Two Truths and a Lie for Arrays and Equal Groups. They had fun and learned so much. I am so proud of what they have accomplished!

* Volunteer Appreciation Tea - It is our way of thanking our dear volunteers who had helped us in a variety of ways. They loved the different performances that each grade had presented. They were entertained.

* Mary Month of May - From the beginning of May, we started saying our daily reflections, said our decade of the rosary and meditated on the Joyful mysteries and on the last day of May, we honor Mary by crowning her and offering flowers. It was beautiful.

June - The month of June will definitely fly by so fast. 9 months of learning. I think they have grown, matured and learned so much.

We still have a few lessons to finish and it is fun before we bid goodbye to this grade. I am confident that they will fly high too in Grade 4.

Thank you dear Grade 3 students and to all our wonderful Grade 3 parents. Each year is different, different challenges, and of course different experiences.

It was fun having all of you in my class this year. I hope you'll have a great summer. And always remember all you have learned in Grade 3.

Thank you for all the hard work you've put this year. God bless you all!

Love,

Mrs. Francisco
